Processing Operator- Sturgis

Location: Sturgis, MI 49091
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50

We’re looking for a dedicated Processing Operator to join our Sturgis team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of manufacturing liquid pediatric and medical nutritional products that makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor computer-controlled blending, weighing, and heat treatment systems.
• Weigh, stage, and document raw ingredients using batch control systems.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment using a CIP (clean-in-place) system.
• Complete accurate documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain GMP compliance through routine equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and area sanitation.
• Transport and receive bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals.
• Support blending operations by preparing and monitoring bulk slurries.
• Perform additional duties as needed to keep production running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in food manufacturing, batch processing, or GMP environments strongly desired.
• Skills:
• Strong written, verbal, and computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multitask, follow detailed procedures, and make sound decisions.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong safety and quality focus.
